California Proposition 65

You may have heard that everything gives you cancer – if you live in California. The reason is that it is a California state law that requires businesses to provide reasonable warning about the use of any chemicals the state has decided could cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list of chemicals and substances is extensive - currently totaling approximately 900.

For those consumers who live outside of California, you are not accustomed to seeing Prop 65 Warnings everywhere you go to shop, eat, buy groceries, fix your car, and are even posted at amusement parks.

We have no reported cases of our products causing harm or danger to anyone. We believe in the safety of our products and we meet all the applicable safety requirements. We are unable to test against the 900+ chemicals listed for Prop 65 and to 100% certainty, and therefore, in an abundance of caution, we have placed the warning on our products to be in compliance with this California regulation. You will also see the Prop 65 warning on products that you buy outside of California, because we are unable to determine our products’ final retail destination.

The interior lid & base depth are about 0.88" each. In both the lid & base there is a 0.25" flat pad glued to the case that separates the gun from the case's plastic.

The total interior height of the case is 1.76" (hence the "slim" designation). With that, we have a 1/4" flat pad in the lid and a 1/4" pad in the base which would lower the usable thickness to 1.26" however, the foam is squishy and will fit guns thicker then 1.26". For your MR920 Elite at 1.25"/1.5", it will fit however the fit will be tight especially in the beginning while the foam has not yet taken a set. It will of course get easier to close in time as the foam starts remembering the impression from the gun. With that said, you can clearly see there is not a cutout relief for optics so that will require DIY customizations to make fit. Generally speaking this case isn't really an ideal solution for your setup & we would recommend going with our standard 2 pistol case if you can sacrifice on the slim aspect.

Although you can purchase this case without foam (Case Club CC85SE Case), we do not offer it with uncut foam. Theoretically you could order the empty case and also order additional foam to go into it.
