The 4 Pistol & Accessory Case by Case Club holds up to 4 handguns and 12 additional magazines without the magazine modules or 29 magazines with the modules. The case is ideal for those who need to transport & store their handguns, ear muffs, and safely glasses along with some boxes of ammo. The heavy duty, closed cell polyethylene foam is cut to allow for quick access to your guns and will hold up to constant use.     Answered by the admin Like most gun laws, this is written in a vague way. Full disclosure... The case is plastic and therefore will melt in a fire given enough time. However one could argue the case will protect in a fire better then a cardboard box or no box at all, but then again not as good as an actual fireproof safe. Probably not the answer you were hoping for, but it's up to a lawyer to determine what the criteria is "fire resistant" as nothing could be more vague.

    Answered by the admin Technically the max length of the pistol is 8 5/8" however considering your gun is 9" which only 3/8" larger, it should still fit. The overall fit will be tighter to the point it may dig into the foam on the barrel and grip end, but it should still work.

    Answered by the admin The foam is definitely not heat-proof. Please ensure the guns are fully cooled off before putting them back in the foam.

    Although the dimensions are close and the foam would fit into the Case Club Case, don't count on it being a perfect fit. The Pelican case is slightly smaller and has different radius corners. The foam would have an air gap all the way around the edge as shown below. If you are okay with that, then it would work for you. Otherwise you would need to consider a different case.
