The Pelican™ 1700 rifle case is the shortest rifle case made by Pelican™ Products. The Pelican™ 1700 case is perfect for black rifles, or those firearms used in close combat with shortened barrels. Extra room around your rifle will allow space for magazines, scopes / optics, lasers, and a Pelican™ Flashlight (we recommend the #2320 M6 Lithium to mount on your gun). The Pelican™ 1700 case is a great waterproof case that can be thrown quickly into a combat vehicle, or squad car taking up minimal space while protecting your rifle. The Pelican™ 1700 case has been designed and produced for professionals that need a waterproof case. The 1700 case has built in wheels so transport is easy. Large reinforced corners protect the contents of the Pelican™ 1700 case from ever sustaining damage. Exterior ribs on the outside of the Pelican™ 1700 case add structural support and shield the double throw latches from abusive shipping. The double throw latches lock the lid securely to the base and when ready to open, the latch will pry against itself making a tightly sealed 1700 case easy to open. A built in automatic purge valve on the front of the Pelican™ 1700 case allows air to move freely in and out eliminating the vacuum effect that could be caused in high altitudes.
